SPL's exclusive condensing coils are manufactured in-house from high-quality steel pipes, with strict quality control processes at every stage. Each coil is thoroughly inspected to ensure that the raw materials meet high industry standards.
All SPL coils are manufactured on an exclusive automated production line, which effectively reduces welding slag residues, increases production efficiency and shortens delivery times from the factory.
During the manufacturing process, the coils undergo three hydraulic tests at a pressure of 2.5 MPa, which guarantees that there are no leaks.
To increase corrosion resistance, the finished coils are placed in a sturdy steel frame and completely immersed in molten zinc at a temperature of 427°C for hot-dip galvanising. The direction of the pipes in the coil corresponds to the direction of the fluid flow, which ensures unobstructed condensate drainage.
SPL coil technology
Standard SPL coils provide excellent heat transfer characteristics thanks to advanced coil technology and a combination of fillers, effectively preventing dry spots and scale formation on the coil surface.
The exclusive optimised design of SPL coils ensures maximum cooling capacity of the equipment. The air flow through the coil is parallel to the liquid flow, ensuring a highly efficient heat transfer process. The special coil design increases the surface area of the heat exchange tubes and improves heat transfer capacity, while reducing the air pressure drop during operation. The oval heat exchange tubes in the coil are arranged in a staggered pattern in the direction of the air flow, which allows for a higher heat transfer coefficient on the film surface.
